Meloxidolor®
Meloxicam is a NSAID of the oxicam class which acts by inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, thereby exerting anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative, analgesic and antipyretic effects. It reduces leukocyte infiltration into the inflamed tissue.

Dogs – for the alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Reduction of postoperative pain and inflammation following orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery in dogs.Cats – for the reduction of pain after surgery. Management of febrile conditions in combination with appropriate antibiotics.
How to use
Dogs
- Musculoskeletal disorders: Single subcutaneous injection at a dosage of 0.2mg meloxicam/kg bodyweight.
- Reduction of post-operative pain: Single intravenous or subcutaneous injection at a dosage of 0.2mg meloxicam/kg bodyweight before surgery.
Cats
- Reduction of post-operative pain: Single subcutaneous injection at a dosage of 0.3mg meloxicam/kg bodyweight before surgery.
- Management of febrile conditions: Single subcutaneous injection at a dosage of 0.3mg meloxicam/kg bodyweight.
